Walk with  Us

We’re walking across America. Eugene, Oregon to Washington, D.C.

Whether you’re joining us for the entire journey or just a few miles along the way, we’re grateful to have you with us. Every step, big or small, strengthens our community and moves us closer to our shared vision.

What you Will Need

All walkers will need to supply their own gear and cover their own food costs during the trip. Click the link below for some recommendations for gear, etc. Our goal is to be hosted by communities throughout the trip. That said, depending on where we are on the journey, walkers should expect some degree of tent camping (with the assistance of our support vehicle), staying in motels, etc. The team will have a support vehicle to carry equipment, scout out routes, and buy provisions on the way. We estimate the daily cost will be between $20 and $ 30. Depending on the types of food and the gear you purchase. If you plan to walk for more than a week, we hope you will attend a walkers meeting where we will discuss the best gear and answer questions on route logistics.

WHere you will be walking

The route is subject to change, depending on weather and road conditions. We plan to walk about 20 miles a day. If you sign up to walk, we will contact you to keep you up to date on our progress and plan to keep this website updated as much as possible. For the most current route, please look at the route page under about.
